samples are available, but need to confirm with customers firstly about the sample fees.
1. If factories, they dont require the sample fees. clients should pay for the freight
2. samples is charged, the freight can consider if buyer or seller afford it.
only take it as a fair, you can have a good situation to push forward.
some customers they would not pay for the sample fees even the freight, for such kind, it must better considering your company finaces. it's not a small charges.
mutual benefit is the best to continue the business.

Most of their views are satisfying. We do send samples free but we ask for our clients any of these,FEDEX,DHL,AIR21 account no.. If the client is really in need of the samples along side with the great price offer then there should be no means that the client will leave you during transaction.

Of course ,there is an exception.We are willing to send free sample and pay for the shipping cost for some potential clients. That means : you pain , and you gain.

Some time, the customer asked the sample to test the quality.
As usual, we will ask the customer to pay the sample fee + shipping cost.
I think, all is depends, for the small and less value proucts, the seller can pay the sample fee and shipping cost, but for the big and expensive products, the buyer have to ask the customer to pay the cost.
For example, regarding to one of our car bed sample, it cost: sample fee (product cost) 95 EUR + shipping cost (about) 300 EUR. So, here, that is why we need ask the customer pay all the charges for the sample.
I think regarding to this question, all depends.

The value of our beauty machine is high ,so we usually charge for sample ,If it's a firm order ,we will give discount for sample value.

If only one or less than 5pcs, we usually provide the samples free.
but the freight is freight collected in any stituation. So if the customer couldn't want to confirm "freight collected", we say:" sorry, we could provide but you don't want."

I think how do you do samples with clients,it is depend on what kind of products you have, what kind of samples clients request and what kind of client he is.
if you have a cheap and small products ,like a notebook ,cap etc, include the express charge does not cost a lot, i think we will not ask buyers to pay sample charge and delivery charge, because all of us know, when the clients transfer money from bank it will cost maybe 25 or 50USD bank charge.
Of cause not everyone who ask for samples, we will supply. We should sellect his company infomation from internet or some other website to make sure he is a potential customer , he really do this business.
And of cause, it is also depend on what kind of sample clients request. for example, you do cap business, but customer need you make a samples as his request, special one .in this condition, i think you need to ask he pay some charge just to show he is serious for this business. And we know make a sample also a lot of trouble, so i believeing nobody will send samples for free easily.
That is just my opinion it is depend on different condition.
For me, i can supply sample for free when they only ask few meters because i can put it in the envelope as document, it is does not cost a lot! but when they ask big quantity, they should pay delivery charge at least, because our products not very expensive. And from client attitude for sample charge, it helpful to judge he is serious or not!

Our company pruduce Satellite Receiver,one sample is about 2KGS.When the client want the sample,we will tell him that he may pay for the sample and the freight.Because we send the sample by UPS or DHL. The clients will agree with it.

Not all the customers get the sample and run away.

explore the potential ,

if he is really serious about the business , send the sample by paying shipping cost and if u doubt , better ask him to pay for sample and shipping cost if value is big or if value is small free sample with shipping cost paid by buyer..

I don't think there is definite way to send samples. If I reveive an inquiry, the patential customer will ask for samples. Firstly I will check his / her business background from the web . How big / What is his or her business? then the cost of of the samples and the possible order profit. then i can judge If it is valuable to send the samples, maybe free sample, free shipping; may be free sample, buyer pay the shipping cost. if he/she is eager to get the deal and the samples is valuable, he do not mind to pay samples and shipping cost.
